Floor screed delivered across Lincolnshire
Floor screed is the layer applied over a concrete sub-base to create a smooth, level surface ready for a final floor finish: tiles, timber, vinyl or polished concrete. We supply and deliver conventional and liquid screeds across Lincolnshire to domestic and commercial projects.
Our screeds are batched to BS 8204 standards and can be adapted for underfloor heating, high-traffic commercial floors, or projects running to a tight build programme.
Types of Screed We Supply
Bonded Screed
Applied directly to a prepared structural slab, typically 25–40mm. The strongest and thinnest option.
Unbonded Screed
Laid over a polythene membrane separator, typically 50mm+. Allows for thermal movement and damp-proofing.
Underfloor Heating Screed
Specially mixed to encapsulate UFH pipework and conduct heat efficiently. Minimum 65mm over pipes.
Liquid / Self-Compacting
Poured and levels itself. Ideal for large commercial floor areas. Faster installation, consistent depth.
Is screed compatible with underfloor heating?
Yes. Screed is actually the preferred method for encapsulating underfloor heating pipework. We supply a UFH screed mix formulated to conduct heat efficiently and handle thermal expansion without cracking.
Minimum depth over pipes is typically 65mm for conventional screed, or 30mm with liquid / anhydrite products. Our team will recommend the right product and depth for your floor build-up and heating system.
